The heat resistant tweezers are made of polyphenylensulfide (PPS) reinforced by glass fibers. This very hard material can resist temperatures up to 230°C, which makes it possible to handle warm electrodes. The low thermal conductivity of PPS prevents from risk of breakage when manipulating glass parts coming out of oven or heating plates.
Moreover, these tweezers benefit from an excellent chemical inertness toward solvents, acids, and bases, making them a universal tool for manipulating wet electrodes as well.
