Sensidizer RK1

Sensidizer RK1 is a metal-free organic dye for Dye Solar Cell application. It offers the possibility to fabricate Dye Solar Cells without ruthenium-based sensitizers.

Sensidizer RK1 can be used as a semiconductor sensitizer, such as titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. This dye features a good solubility and an intense absorption spectrum that lead to highly colorful electrodes.

Sensidizer RK1 is patented and licensed by the CEA.
